Overnight stay is too much. Service of good but the rooms are dire, especially the egyptian themed ones are properly awful.

Stayed one night for a Christmas break. Great value package. Hotel very child friendly as you'd hope and staff were excellent. Room was good, I just wish there was more attention with the cleaning, the carpet needed a proper hoover, still bits on the floor but can't say it massively affected our stay - we would return.

Great location but don’t stay over . Gone down hill drastically . A lot of money to be disappointed A lot of bare essentials you want to eat or drink out of stock and food too much money for poor quality cold meals

We are staying in your hotel tonight of which i am currently so upset with the situation that had been alloud to happen on purpose that i cant sleep. As such here are my 3am thoughts. So we drove 2 hours to get here thinking we will spend the afternoon in the the theme park and have out christmas meal at 7 and a bit of evening entertainment before bed in your bluey room. However on arrival the park was closed and there was a total of 5 small family's staying in the hotel so we spent the afternoon in the splashpark and went for a nap with the little boy as he was utterly shattered by this point got up to go for the meet and greet which turned out to be none existant and warch some entertainment which to be fair to them considering the lack of people infront of them they did really well. Other than the fact we didnt get to see bluey it was pritty good. Then we went for our evening meal which we actually enjoyed despite it not being a festive meal as described we had burgers and lad had pasts but he woofed it all. Only to be told that the meal is not included which made me question my sanity as i was sure id booked it as included. I went on to look at the package and we booked within the correct dates and we definitely had it included. Aparently according to the stff in the restaurant this has happend to quite a few people so we went to reception to complain and was told actually no its not included despite me having screenshots of the advertisements on their website from which i booked. Only to find out the park tickets were also not included nor was the santa mwet snd greet or the panto or even the cbeebies land park. At this point you can imagine im utterly distraught and somehow managed to keep my calm while now descussing this with the hotel managers to be told ive paid a fortune to stay in a room and get a few hours in a splash park. The food by the way in the restaurant is ok priced and well made however the food in the splash park was extortionate for 2 hotdogs 2 drinks a small sandwich and a plate of nachos cost me 40 quid. Two drinks in the hotel bar 16 quid for a pint and a vodka lime and lemonade. As you can imagine having to tell my little boy we was going home in the morning without seing santa or the rides on the park was one of the most devastating conversations ive had with him and hes only 3. Alton towers you aught to be utterly ashamed as ive been conned out of an evening meal and panto preformances as in the end they alloued us into the park and to see santa but nothing else. When you advertise something as a package i expect it to be upheld. What i dont expect is when i apeak to other guests and they have been compensated and then to be told by your managers of the hotel thay they have been told not to compensate anyone for this issue. Which means you know its an issue and means you know uou are missleading people and miss selling an experience. Im sure you can imagine my anger and upset towards this company for the utterly appalling situation you have put me and my family in. Not to mention i am seriously out of pocket knowing i have paid for a mean and pantos proformances and not been alloud to experience any of it. Or day tomorrow will now be cut short and we will be heading home at dinertime as we have no choice thanks to this. So utterly disappointed and dont feel like i coild return after this. I have contacted your online aupport which sent me an email to say we will get back to you in 14 days. Until you resolve this, this review will stay right here.

We visited for our daughter’s 2nd birthday and had a wonderful time overall. The package we purchased offered great value for money, including a basic room, breakfast, and water park access and 'crazy golf'. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, whether at reception, the restaurant, or during entertainment. The room was fantastic—clean, well-equipped, and perfect for little ones. The entertainment was a highlight, with a great team keeping everyone engaged and happy. On the downside, drinks were pricey, especially for alcohol, but that was expected. However, the food was disappointing. While we anticipated higher prices in a captive environment, the quality didn’t match the cost or come close. I expect to pay more as mentioned but would also expect a better quality. Overall, a great experience with some room for improvement in the dining options. Perfect for families with young children!

Great for the littles ones with great staff and entertainment the food and drink is rather expensive especially with 4 children would advise going to a supermarket beforehand and getting plenty to take as there is a fridge in the rooms aswell

This is my fifth visit to alton towers and everytime we have stayed at the Alton Towers main resort and it was amazing however this time we selected Cbeebies land hotel however to our surprise during breakfast there was no buffett system as we always had and we were told that it was because there are less people in the resort. The kids were really disappointed. It would have been good if they would have told us while booking as kids were really looking forward for the spread and for them apperance is more important then the taste and this was a real disappointment. If Alton towers can clearly mention that while booking so that we can decide whether we want to go ahead with the booking or come some other time rather then taking upto themselves and saying because we are not busy we are just offering table service. This is only because my 4 year old remembered her memorable breakfast last time and was really looking forward for this visit but that all went down the drain.

Nice place for the kids. Good entertainment. Limited evening menu for vegetarians. Breakfast is good though. The room needs to be divided as if one child wakes up everyone else does!

Absolutely loved our stay in this Hotel. The service was amazing and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We went for my daughter’s birthday and she got a birthday certificate and balloon which was a nice touch. It’s well designed and very clean and tidy, although Alton Towers seems a slightly strange place for a CBeebies hotel it a great addition, I’d highly recommend a visit!

Great hotel. Lanyards worn for hotel safety of Children. Children catered for with great evening entertainment. Room with nappy bin, step, great artwork and themed room. Breakfast also great with baby food and foods more suited for Children.

Great themed hotel the foyer was fun and the decorations were great. Checking and such was easy and there was loads of lifts which had fun elements too. The evening entertainment was great fun and nice to relax a little after being in the park or driving up before to go in next day. The rooms were fine I liked the layout and the little play wall for the kids room. The main fault really was the food was just mediocre really. I'd just bring in a decent pub menu instead of dense burgers and a harvester like salad bar.

Would have like to have given this place 5* and only did it for the kids. The prices for one night came to £237 which is just ridiculous. Do you know when you go into a public toilet and someone’s done a big dirty one.. well that’s how our room smelled. I expected an unflushed toilet or a nappy stil in the bin . I mentioned it to staff who said they would get someone to ‘give it a spray’, for when we got back. Anyways was ok afterwards. Great buffet breakfast included and was nice to have my daughter watch a CBeebies bed time story

The experience in itself was good. The entertainment was very good and exceeded expectation so A+ for the team executing that! The hotel itself is great. The colours and set up is really cute and it’s child friendly however my only critique in regard to safety would be that the front doors are automated. Now I know this is obviously to let people in and out as they please but I feel there should be a system in place to make this more secure for kids. Even something similar to the way the lifts operate eg you can’t access the lift without your key card. Or even if the door had a button to enter and exit. Quite often my boy would run to the door and end up running outside, in a flash, as he was obsessed with the little aeroplane figure they had outside. The room was nice too however I felt some of the equipment wasn’t working fully on the kids wall. Also the hose for our shower wasn’t secure enough and would soak the entire bathroom and myself when trying to wash my toddler, as water was just spurting out of it. In terms of cleanliness it seemed fine in the bedroom however the hallway corridors and lift area upstairs wasn’t the cleanest. The food was quite a let down and extremely overpriced which was a little disappointing. We stayed 2 nights and the second night I decided to skip on dinner because I didn’t enjoy it the first night and didn’t fancy paying the price for a below average meal. My little one didn’t seem to enjoy it either. Breakfast was better however I did find the glasses and plates weren’t very clean and the dishes were left wet which I found a bit gross… Overall it wasn’t a bad experience and my lnlh main complaint would be about the restaurant food.

Our stay was fantastic, perfect for family-friendly fun. The staff, food, room, and entertainment were all outstanding. The cooked breakfast, included in the price, was of great quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The room was spacious, and you can choose from different themes. Entertainment ran all day until 9:30 pm and was excellent.

First time visiting cbeebies hotel last week for my sons 2nd birthday, On arrival the staff were nice and friendly enough. Once in our room I noticed no matress was provided in the travel cot and had to purchase a matress from argos half an hour away from the hotel. When speaking to Management regarding the matress situation I was told that a matress was provided in the room. It was a hard piece of grey sheeting with a thin base! I have attached a photo to show this. Ive been to a couple of hotels in the past with both my children and never seen a ‘Matress like that before so beware if you are using the travel cot provided. The room was ok but not worth the price tag. Our bed was very uncomforable and the pillows were flat! The windmill resturant was one of the worse resturants I have been to, I ordered the bbq chicken skewers and 1 skewer came with three tiny pieces of chicken on and a handfull of chips this meal was around £25!! My chicken was also freezing cold, The best part of the stay was the kids entertainement at night. The breakfast in the morning was just basic nothing special, I had not one but two dirty cups given to me. And the highchair provided was disgusting with left over food on. For the price of the hotel I expected alot more higher standard. I would not return to Cbeebies land hotel anytime soon.

The room design and space is great! We stayed in an accessible room and my only complaint was that the carpet could have been cleaner. The staff were all attentive and friends especially to the children but the restaurant could have been cleaner and the food nicer. The fruit in the salad bar looked past its best and there weren’t any pasta or options for veg for the kids meals. £19 for a burger and chips for an adult meal Is also very expensive for What it was and there was no discount for only wanting one burger rather the double burger which was on offer. Would also consider using beef patties for the kids as the thick burgers are too much for them.

Let me just start by saying silver fish infested bathrooms and dirty. Food was overpriced and extremely poor quality. Due to the amount of room changes because of the silver fish we missed almost all the evening entertainment- which is 15mins every hour. After a long journey to spend a night at the hotel for our daughter’s 5th birthday. (Please note we saved all year to afford this trip and it was our daughters only gift- had we known the horrible conditions we would have been meet with I would never have booked) the staff was okay, the hotel staff was not able to deal with our problem in house and management from the main Alton hotel had to come see me - this took a bit of time, which was fine the first time. Their resolution was to move us to another room after finding silver fish infested bathroom “an upgrade” as we had no other option by to continue our stay at the same resort. We requested another room hoping we would not be meet by the infestation - please note this is room 630 1st floor right above the kitchen. Then moved to postman pat 678 which left my daughter in absolute tears as she had her heart set on the CBeebies basic room specifically because she loved the room design. We then requested to be moved to another CBeebies room - 640 on second floor which was located right by the hallway entrance. Where we would discover that all night long you can hear everything. Guess where the children’s beds are located. On the same wall as other guest coming in and out of the hallway. Because of the banging and voices our children did not stay in the kids room but in the same area as the master bed. We decided to leave the lights on as we found yet another silver fish in that bathroom too. I can only assume the whole hotel has an issue with silver fish and how other guests wasn’t aware shocked me. I have video evidence to support this. We honestly just wanted to check out an drive home. The main reason we booked was for the entertainment and how kid centric this hotel claims to be. There’s no play areas just CBeebies playing on loop on a huge screen and no real area for kids to play. Apparently all kids need is a screen to be entertained- how very untrue. Also “housekeeper” who seemed to have cleaned all three rooms- a note for you please for all things hospitality reskill or retrain, you had not cleaned our room or any of the others for that matter at a basic standard let alone for the cost of what we paid . Again I could say so much more but we will be here all day. The food had cause both children to have upset tummy’s, leaving us with a very sleepless night as if the previous events wasn’t bad enough. We did not eat the food that we ordered as it was not edible and what can only be described as rubber. When I requested for it to be removed from the bill I was meet with reluctance as it is wasn’t bad enough they place two tots means which was like lava infront of our small children without warning resulting in them both burning their mouths. Gosh I could go into so much more detail. Like we was advised to use the tap water in the bathroom as the bar has closed at 10. When asked how was our stay, I answered honestly and all the staff could say was oh I’m sorry. Honestly will not be returning what an awful experience and one birthday to remember- our daughter keeps telling everyone about the fish in the bathroom. Only good thing we walked away with is that they got to meet their favourite characters for 5 mins. Honestly just plan a visit to the park save yourself the horror of staying here. Think twice before booking this hotel
